Corrections to erroneous proper motions of some AGK 3 stars
Approximately 100 AGK 3 stars have such large published proper motionsthat they must be affected by spurious errors. For some of those starssouth of +25 deg (20 in total), new proper motions have been determinedby combining recent photographic positions with positions obtained fromthe rereduction of the published material of the Astrographic Catalogue.No attempt was made to include other positions than these. The newproper motions in the system of the AGK 3 are much smaller than thevalues quoted in said catalog.
