Lithium in the Coma star cluster
Lithium content of five Am stars and 18 F dwarfs of the Coma cluster wasinvestigated, using high-resolution spectral observations with thecoudespectrograph of the Canada-France-Hawaii telescope. Abundances ofboth Li and Fe were determined by a model atmosphere abundance analysis.It was found that two F stars that have T(eff) range of 6400-6700 K arevery depleted in Li. The five Am stars show real differences relative toone another, in both Li content and Li-line strength, presumably due todiffusion and mass loss.
