Submit a new article| An analysis of the energy distribution of some Be stars in the Northern Hemisphere All the available published fluxes and photometry, from the ultravioletto the infrared of 17 bright Be stars, have been compiled for energydistribution investigation. Most of these stars were found to haveintrinsic color excesses of order of 0.14 m. The possible interpretationof this may be viewed as a result of dust formation in a shell aroundthe star or the binary system. No traces of cool stellar components ofthese stars have been found in the energy distributions, even for thoseknown to be binaries. For the Be stars which exhibit pulsation, noremarkable difference from the other Be stars in the energy-distributioncurves was found.
